The Ukay-ukay Vendor

Here in our Village have a one ukay-ukay vendor, her name is Tita Mila. Ukay-ukay is very in demand here in the Philippines. Tita Mila is very energetic and aside from that they have much different kind of products that she sell everyday. Aside from the vendor she is a dealer of different kind of products like natasha, boardwalk and avon. Everyday she goes to my house and she encouraged me to buy their products. Off course I also bought her products like jeans because I love to wear jeans especially today because the weather is cold and rainy condition.

Anyway, he brought different kinds of clothes today I bought short for my hubby and cute t-shirt for my nephew Vince and for me is a jean or leggings. I just attracted her jackets products because it is looks like plus size outerwear coats . She brought this because as I said that today is rainy season. And I think that it is perfect to the weather condition today.

Tahong Shells

Tahong shell or saltwater mussel is one of my favorite food. Hubby cooked tahong as our lunch. The soup of this tahong is the best served when hot. There are a lot of health benefits that you can get the tahong such as high inn protein, selenium, iodine, and heart health omega 3 fatty acids. And for the muscles are relatively low in fat and calories.

Anyway, tahong or saltwater mussel is very affordable it cost 20 pesos per kilo. Then you can make a tahong soup. Aside from that cooking tahong or saltwater mussel is very easy to do it.

Ingredients:

1 kilo tahong or saltwater mussel
½ clove of garlic
1 thumb sized of ginger, minced
5-6 cups of water
Salt and pepper
Cooking oil
Hot pepper leaves
Mustasa vegetables – optional

Procedure:

1. Using the heavy bottomed pot put the cooking oil, sauté the garlic, onion and ginger until cooked.
2. Add the water and then once boiling, you can put the tahong.
3. Add salt and pepper then add the hot pepper leaves until the tahong is open. And then add the mustasa vegetable.
4. Simmer for another 2 – 3 minutes then turn off the heat.
5. Then it’s ready to serve.

A Kid Loves To Play Guitar

My nephew Vince loves to play guitar. Although he has no real guitar, but he played broom as his guitar. Hubby tries to buy toy guitar but he don’t like to play because he don’t like the sound and he likes the real sound of guitar. Anyway, when we are goes to the SM mall, Vince was stopped the guitar store and he played the kind of new sterling ax30 at guitar center. He really loves to play guitar and I want to buy for him a real guitar but I need to earn more. Because I know that he has a future in music.

Sikad-sikad Shell

Today hubby and I woke up early at 5.30 am in the morning. We went to Dalahican to buy tahong shell. Because today is weakened there are a lot of people to buy sea foods and I want to take a photo but I forgot to bring my camera. Anyway while we are looking the tahong shell my hubby was very interested the one different kind of shell and according to the vendor the name of shell is sikad-sikad. And then my hubby asked the vendor what is the good menu for the kind of shell. The vendor told that the good menu is adobo sa toyo, ginataan and inihaw. And then hubby bought 1 kilo of sikad-sikad shell for the cost of 30 pesos only.

I just took the photo of sikad-sikad shell in our home. And then hubby removes the shell and he prepares the menu of adobo sa toyo.

The Laundry Business

I have an experience the laundry business last 2006. As the owner I feel tired and stressed every time that my helper is absent. I have 2 helpers, which are laundry helper and one who irons the clothes. I say that laundry is a good business but it so tired for me. Because as an owner I need to work and help to my helper. Because for me I am an entrepreneur woman. Anyway after 2 years I need to close my business just because of the small income in the market. I thought that if that time has a samsung dmt800rhs, which I used, I did not feel too tired. And it becomes easy to laundry the clothes. Anyway, back to business I also closed my laundry business and I open another business, this is computer shop, and now the computer shop is continued to operate for almost 6 years.

CAESAR SALAD

A Caesar salad is a salad of romaine lettuce and croutons dressed with parmesan cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper. It is often prepared tableside.

Anyway, I want to share my simple recipe of Caesar salad. I made Caesar salad yesterday as my dining food. I used my simple recipe to make this salad. I put lettuce in a bowl, 1 piece of tomato, 1 piece of pepino, a little bit of carrots and a little bit of cheese I also mixed the ingredients. And then I put the dips n’ dressing Caesar to make it tastier. This is my simple recipe.

Last week my friend was celebrating her 35^th birthday. She invited some of our neighbors and of course during occasions the videoke and drinks is here to make us happy and feel the happiness of party. Spider in a Wall

Based on my research spider is a kind of insects that belong to different animal groups. Spiders are arachnids – technically Class Arachnida, which includes ticks, mites, scorpions and harvestmen (daddy-long-legs). The most obvious way to distinguish insects from spiders is to count their legs. Insects have six legs, while arachnids have eight. Spiders have a hard outer body called an exoskeleton. They have two main body parts, the cephalothorax and the abdomen, plus eight jointed legs. Most spiders have eight eyes. Spiders have jaws (chelicerae) with fangs. Near their mouth, they have a set of leg-like appendages called pedipalps, which are used for handling prey. Spiders feed on liquids and cannot take in solid food. They mix digestive fluid with the prey’s tissue and suck up the partially digested nutrients. While some spiders tear apart their prey, others leave the corpse almost intact, appearing to feed more like a suave vampire than a dismembering werewolf.

Anyway, I found the spider in our wall. It climbs on the ceiling and right away I was took a photo.

The Best Summer Outfit

Many of us the favorite holiday season is summer time because the best thing about summer is the nice weather condition. The weather is usually hot and sunny, with longer days. Moreover, the usual summer attire consists of tank tops, shorts, slippers, sandals for the boys and for the girls is also sexy shorts, spaghetti strap tops, two piece swimsuit designs and also more in the profile by gottex swimwear 2013 design and styles of the best summer outfit. This is the one of my favorite fruit; it contains the following health benefits to our body such as; it gives a healthy brain, healthy heart, it helps for the pregnant women as folic acid, healthy eye, maintains the blood pressure, maintains the blood sugar, anti-inflammatory, digestion, anti-aging and can help protect against prostate and breast cancers. Aside from that avocado is rich for vitamin e.

Actually I bought 1 kilo of avocado for the cost of 50 pesos. I prepared avocado for our afternoon snack, it’s very simple to prepared i also put condensed milk for more tasteful.
