Anyway, it’s just easy to go there Comute to Pagbilao, Quezon: Board Buses to Lucena City either via Lucena Lines, Jam Transit or Jac Liner, it’s better to board one with Dalahican signboard for by its passes by SM City Lucena. ST. ANNE MOTHER OF MARY IN SILANGANG MALICBOY, QUEZON

Saint Anne also Ann or Anna, from Hebrew Hannah, meaning “favor” or “grace” of David’s house and line, was the mother of the Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus Christ according to Christian and Islamic tradition, base on my research on wikipedia. My hubby and I attending the Novena in this church who answers our prayers and St. Anne give the miracle to all the devotees and people who faith and trust for her. The Novenas are held every Tuesday and there is a particular dedication or blessings. My hubby and I attending every 5:00 pm in the afternoon which is Pagsisiyam Kay Santa Ana.

This candle in this photo have a meaning based on their color, you can put pink color for the couple wish to have a baby or para sa mag asawang gustong magkaanak. The blue candle is for the sickness o sa mga may sakit. Violet is for the soul or sa mga kaluluwa. The green color is for the other wish.

Here is the way to go there: From Pagbilao, just follow the National Highwaygoing to Atimonan. Go past the Y-junction at Binahaan by taking the left branch. After KM post 148, notice that the road goes straight for a long stretch. Go past LocohinBridge(BinahaanBridge). In the vicinity of where KM post 149 used to be is a right turning curve. Along this curve is MalicboyBridge. After the bridge, the road goes straight again for as far as you can see. Then the road comes with a a left turning curve.

Along this curve, find St. Anne Shrine on the left side. Also in the same vicinity is the Barangay Hall of Silangang Malicboy which you would find to your right. You must exercise extra caution when driving to the parking area or walking across the road, since this part of the highway is a “compound curve”, meaning after the left turning curve, a right turning curve immediately follows. It other words, be cautious of incoming vehicles and the ubiquitous motorcycles.

KAMAYAN SA PALAISDAAN IN LUCBAN, QUEZON

Kamayan sa Palaisdaan in Tayabas, Quezon is very popular in Quezon, Province. This is along the high-way of Lucban, Quezon. It can be described as a floating restaurant, because it surrounded by water, and the walkway is made up of bamboo tree. The surroundings are very native Filipino with many Nipa Hut replicas all over the place where a group of people can choose to eat their lunch and dinner. They have a mini zoo, fish pond, live band in the evening at the El Pescado Bar Cafe, and place when you can celebrate the birthday party or weeding and etc. The place also represents what its name suggests, Kamayan sa Palaisdaan or eating with bare hands in a fish ponds. Because most of all residents in Quezon, Province used bare hands to eat. This place is very attractive, you can feel the good atmosphere and very comfortable place. The food is very yummy and native, like Ginataang Tilapia, Sinigang, Ihaw-ihaw at iba pa!

Anyway, my co-officemate was inviting us to treat her first salary in her new job here in Kamayan sa Palaisdaan. We ordered ginataang tilapia, sinigang na hipon, inihaw na spyribs. After a heavy dinner we proceed to the El Pescado Bar Café and we ordered 6 bottles of Tanduay Ice. We really enjoy as group date in this place.

Tree planting

Tree planting is very important. Trees have always played an important part in people’s lives, from providing shade and maintaining the beauty of the place to fruits and flowers that attract to each other. Whenever you are around trees you feel a sense of peace and calm and more importantly, protection. If you are concerned about saving the planet, then tree planting is what you should be considering on top priority. Because today they have many calamities like typhoon Sendong attack in our country. Trees are very important to prevent the typhoon or other calamities and it is part of every community. Our streets, parks, playgrounds and backyards are lined with trees that create a peaceful, aesthetically pleasing environment. Hoping that many people have a discipline and they always think that the nature is important especially to all illegal loggers. Because anytime we don’t know what will happen to us.

Last Aug. 8, 2010 we have a tree planting project with the support of DENR in Atimonan, Quezon. It is a project of our company that all the staff is always cooperates to this project. It is very nice project; hope that all the company like this…

Here’s the photo of JCPC company tree planting project.
