Sand Dunes 4×4 Adventure is one beautiful experience that I don’t miss it in Ilocos Norte. This is another interesting place in Ilocos Norte that we visit last holly week. We just tried to experience 4×4 adventures; the cost per ride is 1800 pesos for 4-5 persons only in just 30 minutes. We really exciting and feel a little bit of nervous haha. I feel that I ride in roller coaster that time, because of the thrilling ride experience.
Anyway the Sand Dunes place in Ilocos is like a desert in Dubai, and the weather condition is very hot. This place is a protected area that was furnished with landscapes creating a stunning view of creative nature. Aside from t hat it has been a shooting ground of some Hollywood and local movies such as Ang Panday, Temptation Island, Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote, Mad Max and Born on the Fourth of July. By the way after the smooth 4×4 ride we then proceed to the allotted area for sand boarding – it is a sport that uses skimboard to slide down the sand slope.
Here are some photos I took during we ride the Sand Dunes 4×4 Adventure in Ilocos Norte.
I took a photo of husband of my SIL and his son during uses skimboard to slide down the sand slope.
The place is so inviting to be visited… How wide is this? It’s good that this place is protected. Nobody is squatting here.
I have been to Ilocos but have yet to try the sand dunes. Hopefully when I go back I’ll be able to visit the sand dunes it looks like a lot of fun!
Wow, this is really fun. Dubai has a lot to offer and I bet you really enjoyed your 4×4 Sand dunes experienced
I always wanted to do the 4×4 in the sand dunes. I hope to visit Ilocos Norte soon.
My beau and I passed by here during our trip in Laoag last year. But since it was too expensive for just the two of us, we opted not to try those activities. Then again, it’ll be a good reason for us to visit again the sand dunes in the future. 🙂
When I first learned of this area was when I saw Rivermaya’s music video. I thought they shot it in Dubai so I was shocked to learned that this was in the Philippines. Our very own sand dunes! I would definitely want to visit this place someday.
Tagal ko na binalak mag Ilocos hindi matuloy tuloy 🙁 Thanks for sharing this – May Idea na ako ng mga pwedeng puntahan sa Norte 🙂
Been here to take photos lang outside kasi limited time lang.. i want to come back to try this,,
